Hands on your environment. If the answer is "someone needs to go in and do this," that is work, and work usually costs. How much depends entirely on what it is — it is circumstantial, and I will tell you straight before anything starts.

Some of it stays free regardless. The St. Lawrence Valley SPCA and Sugar Rush Bakery sites were built and are hosted at no charge.
